The purpose of Meditations on the Tarot is to immerse the reader in the current of a living Tradition and to penetrate into the bosom of the oommunity of spirits who have served it and continue to serve it. For the links of the chain of Tradition are uniquely made of thoughts and efforts, but especially of the living beings who are at the origin of these thoughts and efforts. The essence of the Tradition is not a doctrine, but a community of spirits that endures from age to age. (~ Valentin Tomberg)
Hello, thank you for all the hard work on this great site.
I am trying to assemble and condense the explanations of VT’s lists of 7s.
1. The seven “days” of the creation
2. the seven stages of the Fall
3. THE SEVEN MIRACLES OF ST. JOHN’S GOSPEL
4. the seven “I am” sayings of Jesus concerning himself
5. the seven “words” of Jesus Christ crucified
6. the seven stages of the Passion
I think it would be great if you could produce a concise chart explaining and correlating (if possible) these lists of 7s.
Thanks for taking time to consider this idea.
